Uzbekistan, ITTLLDC agree to deepen cooperation on logistics and trade
Uzbekistan and the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITTLLDC) have agreed to deepen cooperation on transport and logistics development, as well as expand international economic cooperation.
The issues were discussed during a meeting on August 21, according to UzDaily, citing Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The talks focused on the development of transport and transit corridors, the integration of landlocked developing countries into international transport networks, reducing trade costs and strengthening regional connectivity.
The sides also placed particular emphasis on diversifying Uzbekistan’s foreign trade routes, advancing digital transformation and expanding the country’s transit potential.
Following the meeting, Uzbekistan and ITTLLDC agreed to continue cooperation on transport and logistics development, trade and economic cooperation, and analytical research.
