Uzbekistan, Qatar ink 15 accords
Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Qatar Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held talks in Samarkand, where the parties signed 15 documents.
Among them are the programs of cooperation between the Foreign and Justice Ministries for 2023-2025 years, and an agreement on creating a joint platform to finance priority investment projects, Caliber.Az reports.
Also, the sides signed documents aimed at cooperation in trade and customs, employment and labour migration, education and science, agriculture, food security, culture, sports and other sectors.
During the session, they discussed the existing friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and the means of enhancing and developing them in various fields.
The parties also discussed ways to implement investment and trade plans between the two countries to support the economy and development plans of the two sides, in addition to the events and developments on the regional and international arenas.
