Uzbekistan, Tajikistan launch joint projects

The presidents of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, have inaugurated 10 joint projects between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.

The initiatives include enterprises for the production of furniture and leather goods, the construction of textile facilities in Tajikistan, the development of a residential complex and commercial facilities in Tashkent, among other projects.

During the visit, a ceremony was also held to name one of the streets in New Tashkent after the city of Dushanbe.
