Uzbekistan terminates operations of over 100 enterprises in capital Due to air pollution

Uzbekistan's Ministry of Ecology has reported that 106 enterprises in Tashkent have been suspended due to violations causing air pollution.

In addition, 56 greenhouses were fined, and 387 businesses received warnings requiring them to address environmental infractions, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports.

The inspections covered more than 4,800 facilities, including industrial plants and construction material factories, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce environmental regulations and improve air quality in the capital.
