The talks focused on deepening bilateral defence ties, with both sides reviewing the progress of ongoing cooperation and outlining strategic priorities for the coming years.
The participants also agreed on a detailed roadmap for bilateral military cooperation covering 2026–2027.
The sides discussed expanding training opportunities for Uzbek personnel through greater participation in the US-coordinated International Military Education and Training (IMET) program.
Both parties emphasised that the exchange of professional experience and specialised military education plays a key role in developing highly qualified personnel for the security sector.
According to the participants, closer cooperation in these areas will contribute to stability across Central Asia and help strengthen regional security.
