Uzbekistan, US explore joint investment platform at Tashkent forum PHOTO
Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva and U.S. officials have discussed the creation of a joint investment platform aimed at deepening economic and financial cooperation, according to Uzbekistan’s Presidential Administration press service.
Mirziyoyeva held meetings with John Jovanovich, President of the U.S. Export-Import Bank, and Ben Black, Executive Director of the U.S. International Finance Corporation (DFC) during the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, Caliber.Az reports.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in industrial development, financial projects, and long-term investment initiatives, including the proposed establishment of a joint investment platform designed to facilitate bilateral economic engagement.
According to the press service, the talks also highlighted opportunities to broaden collaboration between Uzbek and American institutions across strategic sectors of the economy.
Following the meetings, Mirziyoyeva noted that U.S. partners are showing growing interest not only in Uzbekistan’s investment landscape but also in the country’s cultural and historical heritage.
