Venezuela alerts US of imminent terror plot near its embassy in Caracas

Terrorists are reportedly planning an attack on the American embassy in Venezuela, with the country’s authorities having already alerted the United States to the potential threat.

National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez said that right-wing extremists are preparing what he described as a “false flag operation,” without providing further details, Caliber.Az reports, citing Al Arabiya.

Relations between Washington and Caracas are currently at an all-time low, following the deployment of a US military contingent to the region, ostensibly aimed at combating drug cartels.
