Vučić urges protesters in Serbia to engage in dialogue, avoid violence

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has called on participants in ongoing protests to engage in dialogue and refrain from violence, according to foreign media.

“I once again call on them to engage in dialogue — it is good for them and for all of us,” the Serbian leader said.

Vučić also claimed that recent attacks and incidents had been pre-planned, as in previous years, and suggested that turnout at such gatherings is declining over time.

“Yesterday there were fewer people than on June 28, 2025. Then there were fewer than on March 15, 2025, and each time there will be fewer, no matter how much effort or money is spent on organizing,” he added.
