Wales: Stepfather jailed for 19 years after shaking baby to death PHOTO
A 29-year-old stepfather has been jailed for life, with a minimum of 19 years, after shaking his five-month-old stepson to death in Swansea, Wales.
Prosecutors said Thomas Morgan caused catastrophic brain injuries to Jensen-Lee Dougal following a row with his ex-girlfriend, leaving him “in no state to care for a child,” Caliber.Az reports per British media.

The baby suffered multiple fractures and severe bleeding in both eyes, injuries described by doctors as the most serious they had ever seen, comparable to a high-speed car crash. Jensen-Lee died in his mother’s arms the following day.
Morgan denied harming the baby but was found guilty of murder and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Jensen-Lee’s mother, Jordan Dougal, said she continues to live with “overwhelming grief and trauma,” criticising Morgan’s lack of remorse, including holding a gender reveal party on the anniversary of her son’s death.
Judge Justice Stacey called Jensen-Lee a “wonderful, beautiful baby” and praised neighbours who tried to save him, recommending them for a High Sheriff’s Award.
