Wave of airstrikes in southern Lebanon claims at least 14 lives

At least 14 people have been killed after Israeli Air Force aircraft struck three populated areas in southern Lebanon, according to a report from the emergency headquarters submitted to TASS.

“At least nine airstrikes were carried out on the town of Tayr Debba in the border district of Tyre, where seven civilians were killed,” the report said. “Information about three fatalities was received from Deir Kanoun, and two more people were killed in Majdal Zoun.”

According to the headquarters, in the city of Sidon, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a vehicle belonging to the Shiite militia Hezbollah. Two people inside the vehicle died on the spot from their injuries.

In the second half of the day, the settlements of Bazourieh and Kfar Dounine were also subjected to bombardment, where casualties and injuries were reported, though their exact numbers have not yet been confirmed.
