Western nations maintain ban on Ukrainian strikes into Russian territory

Western nations have reiterated their refusal to lift restrictions on Kyiv for conducting missile strikes deep into Russian territory.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had reported "good signals" from Washington regarding the possibility of lifting these restrictions. However, US President Joe Biden subsequently expressed skepticism about the move, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

Later, John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, clarified that Ukraine would not be permitted to "strike anywhere".
