Which logistical facilities were hit in latest Kyiv strike?

05 August 2026 19:29

The Ukrainian capital was hit by a severe hail of ballistic missiles and drones in the night hours of August 4, with multiple logistics hubs and supply centres by private companies struck in Kyiv and the surrounding region.

There have been multiple casualties and injuries reported from the strike, which has been described as one of the worst the capital has seen this year, according to Ukrainian media outlet UNIAN, as Caliber.Az reports.

Among the hit logistics targets were storage facilities and other buildings associated with Denka Logistics, German car cleaning products producer LIQUI MOLY, NOVUS, ROZETKA, Epicentr, Silpo, sportswear and gadget producer PUMA and Toyota.

The Russian defence ministry has confirmed these strikes, arguing that they were targeted because of their reported involvement in "storage, delivery of various weapons and military supplies, as well as in the production and distribution of unmanned aerial vehicles."
