White House: "Europe has been killing itself by not investing in its militaries"
Europe is slowly destroying itself by stifling its energy sector with regulation, making itself dependent on inefficient green energy and foreign countries, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said on Fox News.
“Europe has been killing itself with regulations, Europe has been killing itself with reckless migration policies, and Europe has been killing itself for years by not investing in its militaries,” he added.
Miller noted that countries in the region had relied for years on Washington to subsidise their defence.
On January 24, leader of Germany’s party “Alliance for Social Justice and Economic Reasonableness,” Sahra Wagenknecht, said that Germany and the rest of Europe must abandon a policy of subordination to the US and prevent the deployment of American intermediate-range missiles on their territory.
According to her, the “imperial manic scale” of the White House administration had finally exposed talk of a “values-based” world order and of the US as a selfless protector. All of this, she said, is “fairy tales.”
