White House says US achieved military goals in Iran operation

The United States has “met or surpassed all of our military objectives in Operation Epic Fury,” according to White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales, who defended President Donald Trump’s handling of the conflict with Iran.

“President Trump holds all the cards and wisely keeps all options on the table,” she added, Iran International reports.

On February 28, the United States Armed Forces launched Operation Epic Fury with a set of objectives: to “[d]estroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy [Iran’s] navy and other security infrastructure,” and, finally, ensure that Iran “will never have nuclear weapons," the US State Department said.
