White House signals Greenland may be next target after Venezuela PHOTO
The wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Katie Miller has posted an image on social media showing a map of Greenland overlaid with the U.S. flag, accompanied by the brief caption: “Soon.”

The post prompted a response from Denmark, which reminded Washington that Greenland is already part of NATO and called on the United States to respect the territorial integrity of the Danish kingdom, per Caliber.Az.
“The Kingdom of Denmark and the United States work together to ensure security in the Arctic. The Kingdom of Denmark has significantly boosted its Arctic security efforts - in 2025 alone, we committed USD 13,7 bn that can be used in the Arctic and North Atlantic. Because we take our joint security seriously. And yes, we expect full respect for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark,” Danish diplomat Jesper Møller Sørensen wrote on X.
The reaction comes amid ongoing concern in Copenhagen over repeated remarks by U.S. administration figures suggesting the possibility of taking control of Greenland by “any means necessary,” statements that have alarmed Danish officials.
