White House turns Democrats into ghosts ahead of Halloween VIDEO
The White House has released a Halloween-themed video portraying Democrats as ghosts in connection with the ongoing government shutdown.
The clip, posted on the official White House account on X, includes a caption referring to Democrats as ghosts disappearing from public view amid the shutdown, Caliber.Az reports.
GHOSTED: Democrats disappear on the American people when they need them the most.

“GHOSTED: Democrats disappear on the American people when they need them the most. DEMOCRAT SHUTDOWN,” the caption reads.
The video appeared against the backdrop of the ongoing federal government shutdown, the first since 2018–2019, after Congress failed to pass funding bills for the 2026 fiscal year.
An estimated 750,000 to 900,000 federal employees have been furloughed or are working without pay, and key agencies such as the National Institutes of Health and the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention have sharply reduced operations.
The deadlock stems from partisan disagreements over budget priorities, including whether to extend healthcare subsidies under the Affordable Care Act. Democrats have called for their renewal, while Republicans demand separate negotiations.
The shutdown could cost the US economy up to $14 billion, putting pressure on consumer confidence, delaying small-business loans, and stalling federal data releases.
Economists warn that prolonged disruption could also slow overall GDP growth and dampen investor sentiment.
