WHO rep confirms 37 human cases of monkeypox

Official representative of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tarik Jasarevic, has confirmed 37 human cases of monkeypox in the world, 71 more cases are being analyzed.
“WHO is urging countries to continue revealing monkeypox cases and looking for new ones. We expect more cases,” RIA Novosti reports citing Jasarevic as saying.
He added that monkeypox symptoms usually disappear within a few weeks, however, in some cases monkeypox can lead to medical complications and even fatal cases.
