WSJ: Iran deploys camera network to track US, Israeli aircraft

Iran has deployed a network of cameras to monitor US and Israeli aviation, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing former chairman of the Israel Defense and Security Forum Amir Avivi.

The specialised cameras are designed to collect data across wavelengths beyond visible light along key enemy flight routes. 

Unlike radar systems, the cameras do not emit signals that Israel could detect or target for destruction, making them uniquely covert.
