WSJ: Second round of US-Iran talks may take place in coming days
13 April 2026 10:03
Despite strong statements from both Iran and the United States, diplomatic channels remain open, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports.
Countries in the region are attempting to bring Washington and Tehran back to the negotiating table to contain tensions and prevent further escalation in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, a journalist from Arab News, citing diplomatic sources, said preparations are underway for the next stage of contacts.
He added that talks between the United States and Iran could resume in the coming days with the facilitation of Pakistan, either in Islamabad or in a European country.
