WUF13 foreign journalists tour cultural, historic landmarks in Baku PHOTO

A media tour of cultural and historical sites in Baku has been organised for foreign journalists attending the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).

Media representatives toured White City and the Heydar Aliyev Centre before heading to the historic Inner City (Icherisheher), Caliber.Az reports.

Journalists were briefed on the ancient history of Baku, its rich cultural heritage, and urban development traditions.

Foreign media representatives were also introduced to historical and architectural monuments listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, and were informed about the unique urban environment and historical character of Icherisheher, which continues to be carefully preserved today.
