Yemeni rockets explode over Saudi Arabia before Israeli intercept

On September 2, shortly after 08:00, Israeli missile defence forces detected the launch of two rockets from Yemen and prepared to intercept them.

Shortly before the intercept, the Yemeni rockets spontaneously exploded in the air over Saudi Arabian territory, Caliber.Az reports, citing Israeli media.

This is the second such incident in the past three days. According to Israeli military assessments, the rockets were assembled by the Houthis in Yemen, not imported from Iran.

Within the past three days, a similar incident occurred where Houthi-launched rockets targeting Israel also exploded prematurely over Saudi Arabia. Specific details on the number of rockets or exact location are limited, but the event mirrors the September 2 incident, suggesting technical issues with Houthi-manufactured rockets or possible interference.
