Zaporizhzhia endures one of heaviest drone attacks in recent times One killed. eight wounded

Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region has experienced one of the most intense drone attacks in recent memory, Governor Ivan Fedorov has said.

He said that Russian forces carried out 577 strikes in the region, deploying 297 drones of various types. The attacks killed one person and injured eight civilians, per Ukrainian media.

The towns of Volnyansk, Huliaipole, Stepnohirsk, and Novonikolaivka suffered the most damage from the drone strikes. In addition to drones, the enemy used aircraft (24 strikes), multiple rocket launchers, and artillery, totalling 253 attacks on residential areas and surrounding localities.

At least 67 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure have been received. Emergency services are working on site, documenting the damage, and providing assistance to the affected residents.
