Zelenskyy announces outcome of negotiations with Russia in Turkey

"The only result of negotiations with Russia in Turkey was the possibility of evacuating people from Mariupol and other cities. Tens of thousands were saved," the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at the briefing, RBK-Ukraine reports.

"Total of 500,000 Ukrainians were deported by Russia. Their fate is unknown. Tens of thousands were taken away from Mariupol and other cities. These tens of thousands did not lose their lives, which is the most important thing. We have not lost citizens of Ukraine. All these results relate to the removal of people by our buses and cars (we are talking about evacuations). Unfortunately, there are no more agreements or results of what happened in Turkey. There is nothing else," Zelenskyy said.
