Zelenskyy announces plans for large drone factory in UK

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced plans to establish a large drone manufacturing plant in the United Kingdom as Kyiv seeks to deepen defence cooperation with London.

Speaking in an interview with Sky News, Zelenskyy said Ukraine was ready to share its accumulated expertise and technology in drone production with Britain and exchange technological developments.

The Ukrainian president said the two countries were also discussing a separate agreement on drones aimed at strengthening defence cooperation between Ukraine and the UK.

The planned facility would form part of broader efforts to expand joint work in the drone sector and build on Ukraine’s extensive wartime experience in developing and deploying unmanned systems.
