Zelenskyy announces special status for Polish citizens in Ukraine PHOTO
Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced the introduction of a special status for Polish citizens in the country. He will reportedly submit the corresponding bill to the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) at the soonest.
According to Caliber.Az, the news was confirmed by the representative of the Verkhovna Rada in the Constitutional Court, Olga Sovgirya, on Telegram.
"The President of Ukraine has announced that a draft law on the special legal status of Polish citizens in Ukraine will be submitted to parliament in the near future," she said.
Details of the bill are not yet available.
President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, is on a visit to Kyiv on May 22. He has recently said that Russia's war against Ukraine should end with the return of all the occupied territories to Kyiv.
