Zelenskyy announces visits to UAE, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye with humanitarian focus Excludes Talks with Russia and US
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced plans to visit UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye soon, although he clarified that he does not intend to hold talks with representatives from Russia or US during his travels.
Speaking to journalists in Munich, Zelenskyy outlined his upcoming diplomatic engagements, stating, "A large humanitarian programme is planned for the UAE, including a prisoner exchange," Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.
The President confirmed he would then proceed to Saudi Arabia to continue discussions on the same issues, where he is expected to meet with the King. "After that, I will meet with President Erdoğan in Turkey within two or three days," he said.
Zelenskyy added, "I will not meet with the Russians, and I will not meet with the Americans either."
This announcement comes in the wake of statements by US President Donald Trump, who revealed that discussions on the resolution of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine will take place next week, including in Saudi Arabia.
Zelenskyy’s tour signals an ongoing focus on humanitarian efforts and regional diplomacy, with an emphasis on dialogue rather than direct engagements with Russia or the US at this stage.
