Zelenskyy arrives in Paris to meet international partners

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Paris to meet key international partners and discuss ongoing diplomatic efforts, plans for lasting peace, and security guarantees for Ukraine.

During the trip, he will hold a series of meetings with key international partners and participate in a session of the so-called “coalition of the willing,” Caliber.Az reports, citing UNIAN.

Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and will also hold talks with US representatives, including President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and senior advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner. 

The “coalition of the willing,” a group of Ukraine’s allies, is holding its latest meeting as part of a series of diplomatic efforts that have accelerated in recent weeks to end the conflict.

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed optimism, noting that discussions will focus on providing Ukraine with security guarantees to prevent future Russian aggression if a ceasefire is agreed.

However, prospects for progress remain uncertain. The US administration’s attention has shifted to Venezuela following the recent abduction of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife by US forces.

Signals from Russia suggest little willingness to accept current proposals, with disputes over territorial control continuing to block negotiations and fighting showing no sign of slowing.
