Zelenskyy calls for fair punishment for officials involved in bribery scheme
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has underscored the need for fair and full accountability for officials caught accepting bribes, following the exposure of a major corruption scheme.
Writing on his official Telegram channel, Zelenskyy said that anti-corruption agencies had uncovered a bribery case involving a member of the Verkhovna Rada, several heads of district and city administrations, and servicemen from the National Guard, Caliber.Az reports.
He noted that the corruption was linked to procurement processes for electronic warfare (EW) equipment and FPV drones—resources considered crucial amid Ukraine’s ongoing war effort.
The president condemned the actions as “absolutely immoral” and stressed that those involved must face just punishment.
