Zelenskyy confirms strikes on refineries in Perm, Novoshakhtinsk VIDEO

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on September 25 that strikes had targeted oil refineries in the Russian cities of Perm and Novoshakhtinsk, as well as the Iskra defence enterprise in Ulyanovsk.

Zelenskyy made the statement in a post on his Telegram channel.

“Tonight, thanks to our sanctions, two oil refineries were hit: in Perm and Novoshakhtinsk. Strikes were also carried out on the Iskra defence enterprise in Ulyanovsk, while the Rostov region now has two fewer radar stations,” Zelenskyy said.

Earlier, Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar said the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery had temporarily suspended operations following a strike.

The reported attacks came amid a wider wave of overnight drone strikes on industrial facilities in several Russian regions, including Perm, Ulyanovsk and Rostov.
