Zelenskyy extends martial law, general mobilisation in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilisation in the country for another 90 days, until October 31.

The extensions were approved by Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada on July 14, according to records published on the parliament’s website, Caliber.Az reports. 

This marks the 20th extension of martial law and general mobilisation since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
