Zelenskyy heads to Saudi Arabia to deepen security, energy ties
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Saudi Arabia for talks with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, with discussions expected to focus on security, energy, and infrastructure cooperation.
In a message posted on his Telegram channel, Zelenskyy confirmed his arrival and outlined the purpose of the visit.
“I have arrived in Saudi Arabia, where I will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
Yesterday, at a meeting with European leaders, financial guarantees for our resilience were secured. Today we continue to develop agreements with Saudi Arabia in the fields of security, energy, and infrastructure.
It is important that the strengthening of relations is mutual. I value the meaningful cooperation between our countries,” the Ukrainian leader wrote.
The visit comes as Kyiv continues efforts to expand diplomatic and economic partnerships with key international partners.
