Zelenskyy holds session after Russian missile strike PHOTO
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with law enforcement, military, and intelligence officials to discuss the March 9 massive shelling of Russians and its consequences.
Zelenskyy noted that on March 9 that the Russians fired at Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, Odesa, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zaporizhzhya regions, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The president thanked the Air Defence Forces for their significant work and protection of Ukrainians.
"We must ensure the protection of the energy infrastructure from enemy shelling and ensure the rapid resumption of electricity supply in the affected areas," he said.
Zelenskyy is confident that, despite the Russian attacks, Ukrainians will ensure the invincibility of Ukraine.
On March 9, Russian troops once again massively shelled the territory of Ukraine. As a result of the strike, there are dead, and damage to energy facilities and critical infrastructure has also been recorded.
In general, the Russians fired 81 missiles and eight drones at Ukraine. The air defence forces shot down 34 missiles and four drones.
