Zelenskyy inspects Ukrainian positions near Bakhmut

During a working trip to the Donetsk region, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited the advanced positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Bakhmut direction.

He heard reports on the operational situation and the course of hostilities on the front line, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the Ukriane presidential office.

The president also talked with the military and thanked them for protecting Ukraine.

The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen defenders.

Zelenskyy also presented state awards to the military.
