Zelenskyy reports on Azerbaijan's participation in talks on prisoner swap with Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine is actively working on the exchange of Crimean Tatars captured or imprisoned in Russia.

He made the remarks at a press conference of participants in the Fourth Summit of the Crimean Platform in Kyiv, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is working in this direction through such partners as the UAE, Qatar, Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as these Muslim countries have a great influence in this issue.

The president also noted that the Russian side had a difficult time responding to requests to release “our political prisoners, including Crimean Tatars”.
