Zelenskyy reports strike on FSB headquarters, cites heavy Russian losses
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Ukrainian forces carried out a strike targeting a headquarters of Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) personnel.
In a statement published on his Telegram channel, Zelenskyy said the operation was conducted by fighters from the Special Operations Centre “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), highlighting what he described as significant results.
“There are good results from the fighters of the Special Operations Centre‘ A’ of the Security Service of Ukraine. A headquarters of Russian FSB personnel has been hit, and a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile system has been destroyed on our temporarily occupied territory. Thanks to this operation alone, Russian losses amount to around a hundred occupiers — killed and wounded,” Zelenskyy stated.
Zelenskyy also framed the strike as part of a broader strategy aimed at increasing pressure on Russia.
“The Russians must feel that they will have to end this war of theirs. Ukrainian sanctions of medium and long range will continue to work,” he added.
