Zelenskyy: Russian strikes damage civilian, energy infrastructure across Ukraine

Russian strikes overnight damaged civilian and energy infrastructure across several regions of Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

In Kyiv, a depot at Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station, data and business centres and residential buildings were damaged, he said. In the Odesa region, an educational institution, a dormitory and two foreign vessels were also damaged.

Zelenskyy said Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Volyn and Rivne regions came under Russian strikes.

Energy facilities, substations, civilian enterprises and residential buildings were damaged, according to the Ukrainian president.

He said Ukrainian air defences had intercepted targets overnight, including ballistic missiles, and thanked those involved in the country's defence.

Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude to the United States and Norway for providing a NASAMS air-defence system and a package of missiles, and to France and Germany for recent air-defence missile support.

He called for continued international support for Ukraine's air defences amid what he described as daily Russian escalation.
