Media: Zelenskyy’s Budapest visit put on hold amid unresolved talks

A planned visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Budapest has been postponed, according to the Hungarian portal HVG.

The report noted that the scheduled meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar on Monday could not be agreed upon and has therefore been delayed.

Earlier, European diplomatic sources had suggested that the meeting could help persuade Budapest to lift its veto on the start of initial negotiations regarding Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
