Zelenskyy's office against any truce with Russia

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Ukrainian president's office, said that "any concession" to Russia would mean capitulation.

According to Kommersant, he opposed the truce with Moscow, including a temporary one.

“Any concession is a capitulation, and we will not allow this under any circumstances. A temporary truce will only lead to the next stage of the war in Ukraine,” Podolyak wrote on Telegram.

According to him, 11 months of hostilities proved that Ukraine "can fight back and resist."

In early January, Podolyak opposed the Christmas truce proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. He called the proposal "hypocrisy".
