Zelenskyy says upcoming meeting with Macron aims to end war in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that he will meet French President Emmanuel Macron in the near future, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ukrainian leader’s Telegram channel.

Zelenskyy said he had held a conversation with Macron, emphasizing that “now is the right moment to push the situation toward ending the war and, most importantly, to fully seize all opportunities” — referring to pressure on Russia.

According to Zelenskyy, he also discussed with Macron the current diplomatic developments and recent contacts with international partners.

“We agreed to meet soon,” Zelenskyy concluded.
