Zelenskyy thanks US for additional HIMARS systems

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked United States President Joseph Biden and the entire American people for a new $450 million defence aid package for Ukraine.

“Grateful to US President Joseph Biden and to the American people for choosing to provide Ukraine with another $450 million defence aid package. This support, including more HIMARS, is more important than ever. Together we will liberate the Ukrainian land from the Russian aggressor,” Zelenskyy said on Twitter, Caliber.Az reports.

On June 23, the White House officially announced the allocation of an additional $450 million in defence support to Ukraine to ensure the transfer of more weapons and equipment, including HIMARS systems, ammunition and other equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
