Zelenskyy to open security conference in Munich this year
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's speech should be the first event within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.
This intention was confirmed by the conference organisers, as well as the office of the president, European Pravda reports from Munich.
A half-hour panel with the participation of the Ukraine president, who will join the event via video link, should take place immediately after the welcoming speech of Munich Security Conference Chairman Christoph Heusgen.
The conference program included an event called "David-on-the-Dnieper: the Ukrainian Battle for Freedom", using an allusion to the biblical legend of David, who defeated Goliath stronger than him. Details about the panel participants in the public program have not yet been disclosed, although in Munich they are talking about the president's speech.
The Ukrainian presidential press secretary confirmed to European Pravda that the president's speech at the opening of the conference is indeed planned.
The Munich Security Conference this year will be largely devoted to Ukraine, its victory in the war with Russia, as well as the issue of the future world order.
