Zelenskyy: Trump lacks concrete plan to end war in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that despite repeated statements about a desire to end the conflict in Ukraine, US President Donald Trump actually lacks a concrete plan to end the war. 

"He [Trump] sends a direct message, and he doesn’t provide any warnings; he just says he really wants to end the war. But we don't know how that will happen. We don't know the details. I believe President Trump himself doesn't know all the details," Zelenskyy said, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

Retired officer of the Strategic Intelligence Service and Colonel of the Swiss General Staff, Jacques Baud, stated that following Donald Trump’s recent remarks about peace in Ukraine and his calls to Russia, it has become clear that the US president is unable to stop the conflict. 

Trump remarked that the peace agreement to resolve the conflict in Ukraine was not signed because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chose to fight.

The politician emphasised that Zelenskyy decided to take on a much larger and more powerful country than Ukraine - Russia. According to Trump, the Ukrainian leader should not have done so, as there was an opportunity for peace.
