Zelenskyy, Trump reach agreement on Patriot missiles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he and US President Donald Trump have reached an agreement on producing interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian leader confirmed that the US side has given final political approval for Ukraine to receive licences to produce Patriot missiles, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

“There are specific agreements. President Trump stressed at our latest meeting that, yes, I have made the final decision: Ukraine will receive licences to produce Patriot missiles,” Zelenskyy stressed.

However, he did not specify which interceptors were involved — PAC-3 missiles or the earlier PAC-2 version.
