Zelenskyy: Ukrainian army recaptures 7 settlements in Dobropillia counteroffensive
Since the start of counteroffensive operations in the direction of Dobropillia, the Ukrainian army has recaptured 160 square kilometres of territory and seven settlements, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Step by step, the warriors are liberating our land: since the start of the operation, 160 square kilometers and seven settlements have been reclaimed, and over 170 square kilometers and nine settlements have been cleared of the occupiers,” Zelenskyy wrote on X after he met with Ukrainian troops in Donetsk Region.

The president added: "Nearly a hundred invaders have been taken prisoner, and just in the past few weeks, the Russians have suffered thousands of losses — both wounded and killed."
Zelenskyy noted that he received a report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi on the Ukrainian army' progress in the Dobropillia counteroffensive and in the overall frontline situation.
