Zelenskyy: US determination key to curbing aggressors worldwide

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that developments in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region are unfolding rapidly.

He emphasised that Ukraine understands attacks using drones and reminded that the Iranian regime supplied Russia with “Shahed” attack drones and related technologies.

According to Zelenskyy, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has used more than 57,000 such drones against Ukraine, striking civilian targets, cities, and energy infrastructure. The president noted that other nations have also suffered from similar “terror.”

Zelenskyy stressed that it is now important to give the Iranian people a chance to free themselves from the “terrorist regime” and ensure security for all countries affected by attacks originating from Iran.

“Our position is well known, and Ukraine has stated it repeatedly, including recently. It is important to save as many lives as possible. It is important to prevent the war from spreading. What matters now is that the United States is determined. America’s resolve weakens global aggressors,” Zelenskyy emphasised.
