Torusim potential of Azerbaijan presented in Poland, Czech Republic

For promoting the tourism opportunities of Azerbaijan in Europe, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau held presentations in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Up to 15 travel companies representing the tourism industry of Azerbaijan took part in the events held on September 23 to expand cooperation with partners in Warsaw, Krakow, and Prague, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

The events held in Poland provided an insight into the tourism potential of Azerbaijan, the Polish heritage in the country, the construction of multiple historical monuments and structures by Polish architects in Baku, Shamakhi, Ganja, Gusar, and Zagatala, as well as information about the famous Poles who lived and worked in Azerbaijan.

At the event, held in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, meetings were held in a business format between representatives of the industry from both countries. Czech tour operators and travel agents were informed about the tourism products of Azerbaijan, and the procedures for obtaining an e-visa.

The event provided detailed information about the possibilities of winter tourism in Azerbaijan, mountain hiking routes, and the Slow Food route, as well as gave a chance to taste Azerbaijani wines.
