Baku hands over bodies of 13 Armenian servicemen to Yerevan

Baku has returned bodies of 13 Armenian servicemen to Yerevan.

The process of searching for the bodies of Armenian military personnel who died during hostilities on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border on September 12-13, 2022 was continued.

As the press service of the State Security Service informed Caliber.Az, 13 bodies of Armenian military servicemen found as a result of search operations were handed over to the opposite side on November 28.

The return of the bodies took place with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in line with the international humanitarian law, after the examination with the participation of the Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor's Office, during which no traces of violence were discovered, the ministry said.
