Azerbaijan has discovered the high-power improvised explosive devices planted by Armenia as part of demining operations in the liberated Aghdam district.

One 240-mm 9M24F turbojet rocket and more than 30 120-mm mortar shells, connected with each other and planted on the roadside, were revealed, Azerbaijan's National Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) told Caliber.Az.

Each 120-mm mortar shell contained more than 3 kg of an explosive substance, the purpose of such shells was the mass destruction of military equipment and people.

“ANAMA said that mine clearance work is underway in the liberated territories. Special explosive devices and booby traps testify to terrorism directed against the civilians,” the report said.
