Foreign diplomats explore industrial recovery at Azerbaijan’s Aghdam Park
A delegation of foreign diplomats and military attachés accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Aghdam Industrial Park to assess the region’s industrial recovery.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the operational capabilities of the restored facilities and observed a range of products manufactured in the city, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The tour highlighted Aghdam’s efforts to revive its industrial sector following years of conflict and occupation.
Earlier, the delegation also toured the Mugham Center, learning about mugham, traditional form of Azerbaijani music recognised as part of the country’s cultural heritage, as well as the recently restored Imarat Palace Complex.
The visit is part of a broader diplomatic programme designed to highlight Azerbaijan’s post-conflict recovery and reconstruction initiatives across the liberated territories. It also aims to promote understanding of the country’s efforts to prepare for the return of displaced residents.
Prior to Aghdam, the delegation of foreign diplomats also visited Shusha.
Located at the crossroads of Karabakh and surrounding regions, Aghdam Industrial Park has rapidly emerged as a key center for business development. Hosting nine active enterprises, the park’s strategic position has drawn interest from both domestic and international investors. Its growth plays a vital role in Azerbaijan’s efforts to diversify the economy and strengthen the competitiveness of the non-oil sector.
