Putin: Russia open for political, diplomatic settlement of situation in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has written that Russia is still open for a political, diplomatic settlement of the situation in Ukraine.

President Putin wrote in his article titled "Russia and China - a partnership looking to the future" in the People's Daily newspaper.

The Russian leader noted that the ultimatums directed against Russia show that its opponents are not interested in finding a way out of the situation around Ukraine.

“Russia is open to a political, diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. However, the peace talks were not terminated by us in April 2022,” the president added.
